TOWARDS A NEW FUTURE

Oman Vision 2040 is the pathway by which the Sultanate aims to surge forward to join the community of developed nations of the world. The vision document offers broad guidelines and sets out the national priorities for the nation in its journey to the global center-stage.
Vision 2040 was launched under the leadership of His Majesty the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said and is carried forward by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
It was developed with extensive participation of Omani stakeholders, including public and private sectors, civil society institutions, municipal councils, academic institutions, and community member representing women, youth, media professionals, students, and people with special needs.

The key pillars of Vision 2040 are:
